Every customer of Varna Bus Station may purchase a bus ticket from any of the three ticket offices located within the bus station building. By purchasing a bus ticket, passengers using the services of the bus station agree to the carriers’ General Terms and Conditions for the transportation of passengers:
- By issuing this ticket, the carrier enters into a passenger transport contract and assumes its responsibilities in accordance with Articles 42 to 48 of the Bulgarian Road Transport Act (promulgated in State Gazette No. 82 of 17 September 1999, amended and supplemented in No. 11 of 31 January 2002).
- The holder of the ticket is insured against the risk of accidental injury during the journey.
- The carrier provides the holder of a valid ticket with transportation by bus on the specified route, including personal luggage consisting of one suitcase and one hand bag.
- It is the passenger’s responsibility to verify all information printed on the ticket immediately upon receipt and to obtain any necessary information before purchasing the ticket.
- If a ticket is cancelled less than 24 hours before departure, the full ticket price is non-refundable. This also applies to lost or stolen tickets.
- No refund shall be provided for an unused ticket. Once the bus has departed, no reimbursement will be made for an unused journey.
- The carrier shall not be liable for lost or stolen tickets, and duplicate tickets will not be issued in such cases.
- The carrier shall not be responsible for delays caused by circumstances beyond its control.
- (Amended on 21 October 2013) If the journey cannot be carried out due to the carrier’s fault, relations with the passenger shall be governed by the General Terms and Conditions of the actual carrier, in accordance with Article 79 and the following provisions of the Bulgarian Obligations and Contracts Act.
- The passenger bears personal responsibility for any damage caused by them to the vehicle.
- Smoking on the bus is strictly prohibited throughout the entire journey.
- The passenger must present the ticket upon request for inspection by representatives of the Executive Agency Automobile Administration, the Traffic Police, or the carrier’s internal control authorities.
